Groovy Jeans for Curvy Women

I confess... I have close to 20 pairs of jeans and I only wear two of them. They're either too tight, too short, too snug in the hips, too frumpy, too old...the list goes on. So naturally I decided I would begin yet another quest for the perfect pair of jeans. One that would be comfortable and easy to wear, yet with some pizazz and stylish details. So off to the department stores I went with an optimistic attitude and a gleam of hope in my eyes.

Twelve unsuccessful attempts later I decided to give up, but not completely.

The problem, I decided, was that the stores I visited weren't carrying brands of jeans catering to curvy women, like myself. Let me take a moment to define myself. Now I know the word curvy these days can often refer to plus size women, but in this case I'm referring to women with a larger hip to waist ratio than most. In other words...baby got back. To make things worse, not only was I not finding the right jean cut to fit my body type, but also I was bored with the style selection. Double grrrr.....

Then I thought maybe if the mainstream retailers couldn't help me find the perfect pair of jeans, maybe I would strike gold online. Come on Google - show me the way!! So, I searched for the best jeans for curvy women and ended up finding a GREAT site called GroovyJeans.com. They carry a limited selection of ultra-sexy Brazilian cut jeans that are actually designed to fit curvier silhouettes. They carry many low rise styles, but there are also a few styles with 8" rises for those who want a little more coverage. On top of the great cuts, they also feature rhinestone jeans, swarovski jeans, and embroidered jeans. I especially love the basic blue Brazilian jean, 6 button cigarette dark jeans, and the all around waist floral embroidery jeans. Ultra sexy...ultra flattering... Could these really be the perfect jeans???

Now to find that perfect swimsuit......

Welcome to My Shopping Blog!

Like most women, I love to shop. I shop for fun, for therapy, for sport, and yes, even sometimes because I need to. More often than not, I come across at least one item, brand, or retailer that I go completely ga-ga over. Since I'm always curious to know all the great finds other women have found, I figured I would take the opportunity in this electronic age to start a blog and start sharing my own finds. Please feel free to post comments whether you agree with me or not and don't be too shy to recommend your own favorite alternatives. I'd love to hear from you too!

Enjoy!
